Whose ground is your career built on?

Ten questions. Three minutes. No email to see your result.

Most people score lower than they expect on Proof and higher than they expect on Network. This audit scores five dimensions of ownership and returns one of four positions, from The Tenant to The Owner, with a specific first move for whichever dimension came out lowest.

Every question, and how it scores

All ten, written out. Nothing here is hidden behind the widget.

The four positions

Your total across 20 possible points lands you in one of these.

0 to 6 of 20

The Tenant

Your credibility lives on land someone else owns. The work is real, the reputation is real, and almost none of it is deeded to you. If the platform changes its rules or the org chart changes its shape, you start over.

Here's the honest upside: you have the most to gain of anyone taking this audit, and the first moves are small. Ownership compounds fast once anything is on your own ground.

7 to 11 of 20

The Leaseholder

You've got a long lease and good terms. People know you, your work travels a little, and you'd land on your feet. But a lease is still not a deed. The core of your professional value renews on someone else's schedule.

You're one deliberate year from flipping this. The raw material is already there. It just isn't titled in your name yet.

12 to 16 of 20

The Equity Holder

You own real pieces of your career: some proof on your own ground, relationships you hold directly, maybe income that doesn't ask permission. That puts you ahead of most professionals working today.

What's missing is the structure that makes the pieces compound: one owned position everything else feeds. Right now you have assets. Not yet an engine.

17 to 20 of 20

The Owner

Rare air. Your credibility is deeded to you: owned proof, direct relationships, income and positioning that survive any single employer or platform. Whatever happens to the market, you negotiate from your own ground.

Your question is no longer ownership. It's compounding: how much faster the engine runs with AI as the driver, and what you build on top of it next.

The first move, by dimension

Whichever of the five scores lowest, this is where to start.

Proof

Get one piece of your best work onto ground you own. One page you control beats a decade locked in someone else's drive. Start with the single project you'd want your next opportunity to see.

Reach

Pick one channel you own outright and put one real thing on it this week. Not a manifesto. One piece of work, one decision, one lesson, with your name on it.

Network

Move ten relationships into a list you keep, starting with the five people you'd call first. Owned means you can reach them next year without a login or a badge.

Income

Name the first thing someone would pay you for outside your role. You don't have to sell it yet. Naming it is the move, because it turns a skill into an asset you can price.

Story

Write your positioning line yourself, one sentence, before someone else's org chart writes it for you. If you can't say it in one sentence, that's the work.

Questions people ask

How long does the career asset audit take?

Ten questions, about three minutes. There is nothing to install and no email required to see your result.

What does it actually measure?

Whether your professional credibility sits on ground you own or on someone else's. It scores five dimensions: Proof, Reach, Network, Income, Story.

What do I get at the end?

One of four positions, from The Tenant to The Owner, plus a specific first move for whichever dimension scored lowest.

Is this the same as the antifragile career audit?

No. This one measures ownership, who holds your proof, reach, network, income and story. The antifragile audit measures what happens to your career under a shock you did not choose. Different questions, different result.

What to do with your result

The audit tells you where the gap is. A read tells you what to build first, in what order, and what it is worth.
